The Monthly Bio: First Edition 🥳, March 7th, 2022
New features and new genetic tests are available on the DeBio Network app.
The Monthly Bio is a newsletter that gives the community dev updates on the progress of DeBio Network. Everything from the new partnerships to the most recent deployment changelogs will be included in this newsletter.
TL;DR In this iteration, the DeBio Network dev team has released:
- A new Genetic Analysis feature.
- Pagination on requested service listing.
- A popup message if Users have insufficient balance for a transaction.
- Improvements so users can sign in with another account by using mnemonic.
- Improvements on validation for some fields.
- Improvements on upload EMR feature.
- Improvements on the UX copywriting.
- Improvements on UI design.
- Removing password fields when encrypting EMR files.
- Removing service category “Others” from the Request Service feature.

Product Update 📦
The DeBio Network team has released a new version of DeBio Network to the Testnet and Mainnet app. Currently, the team is working on feature updates related to Request Genetic Analysis.
New Feature💡: Add Genetic Data
A feature that allows customers to upload their previous genetic data result in the format of .vcf, .vcf.gz, .txt, .zip, etc.
New Feature💡: Request Genetic Analysis
A feature allows Customers to request genetic analysis to a verified Genetic Analyst (GA) on the DeBio based on uploaded genetic data. It will contain four steps; select genetic data, select service and analyst, checkout and payment, and success.
New Feature💡: Genetic Analyst Dashboard
Once the Customers submit their order, the Genetic Analyst can check the new order on their Dashboard page.
New Feature💡: Genetic Analyst Provide Order
Genetic Analysts can process orders under this feature to accept or reject the incoming order. If rejected, they can state the reason for rejection. If accepted, they can continue the analysis process, and once they finish, they can upload the result and submit it to the Customers.
Feature Updates ⚙️: Removing Service Category “Others” From the Request Service Feature.
DeBio Network removes the “Others” category from the service request feature. If you had staked $DBIO for request service with the “Others” category, please unstake your $DBIO by canceling your request.
DAOGenics, Ltd will determine all the available specific service categories. If you have any categories you want to add, feel free to contact science@debio.network.

There have been some improvements to the overall user experience, including:

If you had staked $DBIO for request service with the “Others” category, please unstake your $DBIO by canceling your request. Once unstaked, the $DBIO will return to your wallet after six days. After receiving your $DBIO, you can make another service request within the categories determined by DAOGenics, Ltd.
