Courtney Clenney: Allegations of prosecution misconduct fly amid her parents’ hearing

More and more twists emerge in the case of an OnlyFans model accused of stabbing her boyfriend two years ago. The prosecutor’s office appears to be in some legal hot water, while defense attorneys testified at a hearing regarding Courtney Clenney’s parents.

The 27-year old woman appeared in court on April 23, 2024 regarding merely one baffling aspect of an already dramatic case. CourtTV reports that the hearing was in relation to charges against Clenney’s parents, who are accused of illegally accessing Christian Obumseli’s laptop after his murder.

Defense attorney Frank Prieto, representing Clenney and her parents, was actually called on to testify, as the prosecution alleges that Clenney’s parents and Prieto discussed the laptop in a group chat on their cell phones. Kim Clenney, Courtney’s father, revealed that he had logged into the laptop upon figuring out the password, though Prieto advised against snooping around on it.

On the stand, Prieto pointed out that police left the laptop behind after their search warrants were executed on the home and other digital devices, Court TV reports, and that many of the conversations on that laptop were protected by attorney-client privilege.
