Portals are the entrance point to DEIP network for end users. Each portal focuses on a specific intangibles class and specific creative industry, such as inventions/patents, movie scripts, tokenized talent, etc.
Portals are gateways to the DEIP network and provide all necessary infrastructure, such as a user interface, off-chain data, regulation compliance such as KYC/AML services, required to interact with the network. They provide an entry point for specific intangible asset classes to become part of Web 3.0.
A portal focuses on a specific class of intangible assets. This can be an invention or patent, movie script, tokenized talent, or whatever you create, so long as it can be grouped into a category. If not, a new portal would have to be created to accommodate your asset.
Just like publishers gave content creators platforms in Web 2.0, DEIP portals give creators a place to introduce their work to the Web 3.0 world. Although, unlike the centralized publishers of Web 2.0 that take the lion’s share of value created, portals provide an entry point without taking any of the value from the creator.
