The lions have a chance in the NFC North and here is why!
Look, let’s face it, the Detriot Lions never really had a good team outside of the year 1991. To tell you how bad that is picture this: cell phones were nonexistent, video games just started to get popular, credit cards just became a thing, Home Alone just came out, etc I could go on and on but I think that is enough to tell you the franchise care into winning.

Hillarious meme of Lions banners
Though there was a change in the team’s attitude when we got a man too familiar with the organization. His name is no other than Dan Campbell, if you need a reminder I have the best video you’ll ever watch :

There is no doubt you either love Dan or you hate the man and not too many people hate the guy, it is quite the opposite. I know personally when it comes on August 9th, the whole Detriot area, and the world will be put on notice. The Detriot Lions will be on Hard Knocks, which is a show in the summer before the season. We are not here to discuss that… rather the amount of success the Lions can have in this division.
If you look at every team in our divison the Packers, Bears, and Vikings, they really did not improve at all. While the Lions have seemed to move forward on improving for the season.
Nothing has moved the needle when you look at all those teams’ moves when you think about it. The Packers lost their star receiver Davante Adams, who was a chunk of their offense. To add to that they lost 1/2 of the Smith brothers, Za’Darius. Vikings have made no moves outside of their new coach Kevin O’Connell (diet McVay 2). Bears just recently hired Matt Eberflus who looks to reinvent a desperate defense? I still can not phantom how that team blew that playoff game against the Eagles. Then how bad Matt Nagy and Mitchell Trubuski were my god….. They did manage to trade for N’keal Harry who was on the tail end of being out of the league. I still will never forget how the Patriots pasted on AJ Brown, yet this is the same team who has Matt Patrica and Cole Strange.
I will like to also discuss the strength of the schedule when compared to Lion’s roommates:

When you see the Lions at the end of this list, it’s like you can almost rejoice because we were always in the top ten, which meant it was bad 95% of the time with the team. I just feel that team has some swag about them and newfound confidence I’ve never seen in my life. Most important culture and accountability!
I also like that the team added two up-and-coming rookies in the league, Aidan Hutchison and Jameson Williams. Both were easily stolen from Brad Holmes and Dan Campbell in the draft because it seemed that both were going in the top 5 or top 10. What happened to Aidan is that he got outshined by Trevon Walker who I never had going #1 overall, but since it’s a team who has if not been worst than the Lions being the Jaguars I go it. Not only that we got Jamo Williams from Bama, who had a torn ACL in the National Championship game. Not to mention traded that Rams pick from the Stafford trade and traded with our little brother Vikings. That to me had a belief that this regime knows what the hell they are doing.
