Fish Tank

Inside the commercialized fish tank
I saw the endangered coral reefs
That you have painted on with love

I played with the pretty bubbles
Of the artificial waves
And pet the tickly moss
inside the small rock caves

I listened to the gentle lullaby
That whispers:
“We will all be gone
When this song is done”

So I screamed “ No!”
And smacked my face again into that clear glass foe
An awakening Ouch told me “not today”,
I finally decided to swim away
Accelerate to the surface
And attempt to fly
Outside the aquarium
