While our drivers have been out on the front-lines of Addis traffic delivering your lunches, dinners, and treats, the Deliver Addis team has been cooking up some changes behind the scenes to make the delivery system better for you. You’ll start seeing these changes today
1. Increased delivery distances & Adjusted pricing
You’ve been asking for us to deliver further, and now it’s here. Starting today you can now get delivery up to 9 KM from our partner restaurants. In adjusting our distances, you’ll also notice that we’ve updated our pricing to reflect the new structure as well as changes in the market and costs in the three years since Deliver Addis started serving Addis’ best restaurants to your door.
- 0–3 KM: 70 ETB
- 3–6 KM: 85 ETB
- 6–9 KM: 100 ETB
It might cost a few birr more, but you can now get delivery to even more restaurants instantly! (All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes)
2. We now take online credit card payments
Always looking for cash when the delivery arrives? You can now use any international credit or debit card to pay for your order via deliveraddis.com! We’ve partnered with a US-based tech company to develop this new service and build a system to ensure that your card details are always kept secure using the same technology that companies like Kickstarter, Instacart, and Lyft use. Local debit card payments will hopefully be coming soon!
3. Deliver Addis Rewards: Earn points with each delivery!
To thank you for your continued business, you’ll now be earning Deliver Addis Reward Points with every delivery! Starting today, each completed order you place will earn you 10 reward points in your Deliver Addis Rewards account. Once you collect 100 points you can redeem them online for a free delivery!
4. More security: Time to reset your passwords
Due to all the behind-the-scenes security enhancements we’ve been making for online card payments, we will need you to reset your password in order to take advantage of the new site features.
