- Produced a map of our current website.
- We were not sure which software to use, so we ended up using Powerpoint.
- The final document was like a huge flowchart of how to get from one part of the website to another.
Started to rank our pages according to importance
- The map helped us to work out which pages have become redundant and which pages need to be prioritized.
- It helped us realise that we need to do a cull of some of our pages and resources.
- We started on the process of listing the pages that should be removed.
Started to work out how the user journey should look on the new website
- Putting down the old website map in a visual format showed us how overcomplicated it had become.
- We began work on producing a similar document for the new website that will have a much more streamlined user journey.
