Delphy Co-hosted Successful Hangzhou & Shanghai Blockchain Salons with Partner Projects

On May 12 & 13, 2018, Delphy, in collaboration with Primas, OracleChain, ZatGo, co-hosted blockchain salons in Hangzhou and Shanghai, respectively.

This series of salons, aims to tap and unite high-quality blockchain projects and teams that truly posses core technologies and core values, and build zero-distance communication platforms for professional investors, outstanding developers and ultimately for the users.

Mike Li, Product Managing Director from Delphy, Jane Zhang, Marketing Partner from Delphy, Lyan, CTO from ZatGo, Yuqian Lu, Co-founder of Primas, Zhiyong Tan, Co-founder and Chief Scientist of OracleChain, Lixin Wang, Founder of CC-Value, Qiaomeng Huang, Investor from Fenbushi Capital, Qianfeng Gu, AP CEO from BTCmedia, etc., were invited to attend and speak at the salons. These guest speakers proceeded from their respective fields and discussed the application and development of the blockchain.

Delphy is the first prediction market platform based on Ethereum in China. It aims to bring together the wisdom of the crowd, to predict the future. Mike introduced that, by using Delphy’s prediction markets platform, on one hand, users can get rewarded by contributing their wisdom and predict correctly; on the other hand, for those who don’t know the answer about the future outcome, they can gain knowledge from others who predicted correctly on the platform, or just know how other people’s point of view about a future event, which will assist with their own decision-making process.

Mike also emphasized that, compared to betting, Delphy, the prediction markets platform is more focused on people’s cognition and wisdom sharing, which makes it easier to promote widely. At the same time, Delphy team will give users different forms of incentives to encourage users to participate in the predictions, and contributing their cognition and wisdom. Both of these factors will help Delphy aggregate a large number of users. We believe, the successful combination of high-dimensional combat strategy of “Traffic is the king” from the Internet industry, and the power of the strong blockchain community characteristics, will finally realize the true value of the project.

If 2017 is the year of ICO, then 2018 is the year to deliver i.e. product launches of the 2017 ICO projects. Delphy, ZatGo, OracleChain, and Primas are all ready to deliver in the year of 2018.

For Delphy, after two months of careful polishing, the upgraded version of Delphy Application will be launched in early June. We all agree that sports is one of the most popular application categories in prediction markets, as 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia is approaching, Delphy will highlight World Cup session in our application and we are sure you will enjoy Delphy application, as well as sharing cognition and gathering collective wisdom.

The blockchain is such a popular topic that it gathers alot of interest. The community generally believes that the blockchain will bring about the re- molding of a new production relationship and trust system.

China’s State Council has clearly stated “to take great effort to develop blockchain” into the “Thirteenth Five-Year Plan”. Professor Shousheng Zhang from Danhua Capital also pointed out several times in different meetings that “ the opportunities that the blockchain industry can provide is 10 times or 100 times of that the Internet industry could.”

The reason that Delphy chose Hangzhou as one of the first stops of China tour is that Hangzhou is the first city in China to put the word “blockchain” into the government reports. In this tide of Blockchain industry, it brings opportunities as well as challenges.
