CMO-GemGuardian: Thanks for having us here.
omg-DHC CM: GemGuardian is an exciting and ambitious project, could you tell us little bit about the beginnings of the project and what brought it to fruition?
CMO-GemGuardian: GemGuardian Project started off as a concept developed by the same development team as Binstarter; our incubator. Both development team and marketing team planned, groomed, and executed the GemGuardian Project. Vision of the founding members is to create an equal and rewarding blockchain gaming experience for the rich and the poor. Therefore we set the barrier of entry low enough to entice players in developing countries.
omg-DHC CM: Very impressive. What inspired the plot of the game and how where you guys able to integrate that in the NFT/blockchain space?
CMO-GemGuardian: The plot of the game was combination of western myths and filipino fokelores. These elements are implemented as characters/nft in the GemGuardian game. Where players will purchase them in order to play and earn in game rewards and staking rewards.
omg-DHC CM: Looks like a very unique combination. I am also fond about the lootbox, can please tell us a little more about it? Its functionality and importance?
CMO-GemGuardian: Lootbox is a mystery box where a combination of GEMG and Gpay tokens is needed in order to obtain a character in the game. To start the game you will need one Guardian and one Dragon. After each time you unlocked a Lootbox, the next Lootbox will cost more but the chances of obtaining a super rare NFT increases exponentially; therefore increasing the chance of obtaining super rare NFTs.
omg-DHC CM: That’s another unique character of the game. As we journey through this AMA could you please elaborate on the two governance tokens GEMG and GPAY? Tell us how they work with staking and community voting?
CMO-GemGuardian: Our project is very unique because it’s model after the gold standard that nurtured USA to becoming the strongest country in the world up until the 70s then they changed it. Dual Token Economy consist of 2 tokens one is GEMG ( Gold ) and the other is ( Gpay ) Cash. GEMG’s utilities include voting, governance right, profit share, and purchase of Lootbox; which is the first point of entry into playing the game. In addition GEMG models after equity or a store of value in the GemGuardian Ecosystem. GPay token models after cash/medium of exchange in an economy; facilitating exchanges, in game rewards, and purchases of the Lootbox. The game reserves acts as a bridge that connects both token supplies where liquidity is constantly reinforced to Gpay pool. This will help mitigate the selling pressure for GEMG tokens while keeping staking and in game reward ROI high.
omg-DHC CM: Amazing combination, based on the history of the strongest. What are other differences between GemGuardian and the NFT gaming market of today?
CMO-GemGuardian: First of all the main difference is that we have an actual game compared to all the new projects that does whitelisting for their beta version but have no definite date of enrollment. In addition we have a Dual Token Economy that only few projects have, including the famous Axie infinity. This shows to be very sustainable in terms of price stability, game acceptance, and infrastructural scalability. So basically we have all the good elements of a successful NFT play to earn ecosystem in the market.
omg-DHC CM: Yes and your TG following shows how popular and strong the project is. How do you feel about the future of NFT games and where do you see GemGuardian in the future?
CMO-GemGuardian: NFT and play to earn model is a relatively new concept. This is revolutionary in terms of changing the mind set of tradition working class. To think that workers can just play a game to earn an income to feed their family; would of been a really weird hypothesis years back.
omg-DHC CM: Before we open the floor for our members to ask questions, is there a TGE date set yet?
CMO-GemGuardian: Around Sep 25–26th thats when we will list.

Q: What are the uniqueness of gemguardian project over axie infinity?
A: What is unique is that we set a low barrier of entry so more players of low income country can join the game. When you compare the initial investment of Axie is $1500 for 3 Axie; which is equivalent to 5–6 months of someone’s salary in developing country. Thats alot of unexplored scaling capacity. We are here to fill in the gap.
Q: Will it be a mobile exclusive or will be cross platform such as pc and others.
A: We will eventually go mobile and 3d using unity.
Q: There are many NFT/Games projects. How will you bring in mass adoption for people to use your platform compared to competitors? And a lot of projects have initial hype and eventually die out. What is your marketing and development plan like?
A: Low barrier of entry and high apr will attract the mass population where games like Axie infinity are leaving off.
Q: Can we feel your game now, can we use a smartphone or is it on your website? And how can I buy your nft?
A: Even though it’s web based the game can still be played on mobile. But eventually an app will come out for even smoother game play and additional features.
Q: How can I buy your tokens right now and also which wallet support your token?

Additional launchpads will be announced within the next few days. Currently we will support metamask, trustwallet, C98, and D’cent. More wallet integration will be added soon.
