omg-DHC CM: Let’s start the AMA. Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and your experience with blockchain?
Karanalu Pontoon CEO: I am from tech background with 14+ years in the silicon industry managing DataCentre activities. My previous role includes datacenter architect. Entered Crypto at the last of 2017 as a trader and then moved ahead into investment and now Co-Founder and CEO for Pontoon. My Journey with blockchain started through my close associate with a development phase.
omg-DHC CM: Very nice. How about the team members and their blockchain experience?
Karanalu Pontoon CEO: Yes team is also very well experienced with the entire team having more than 5+ years in this ecosystem. We have a team of 13 members spread across globally.
omg-DHC CM: A multinational team working on this impressive project.
Let’s talk about Pontoon and the idea behind it. Can you tell us about the beginnings?
Karanalu Pontoon CEO: Pontoon is one click liquidity mirror solution across chains that aims to solve fragmentation and composability concerns in the ecosystem in a completely trustless way. We at Pontoon neither MINT nor create any synthetic assets which eliminate the need for CEX for the token transfers.
omg-DHC CM: How does it solve the liquidity problems across chains?
Karanalu Pontoon CEO: We have a very high incentives model for the liquidity providers. Overall 35% from the tokenomics been dedicated to rewards. https://pontoon.fi/pdf/TokenMetrics.pdf
omg-DHC CM: Can you tell us a little bit about the Governance token ad its uses?
Karanalu Pontoon CEO: Any token holder have the right to vote for the protocol growth and the leading holder can also be a validator for the Pontoon. We have rewards emission for validators also.
omg-DHC CM: Any future partnerships and IDO info?
Karanalu Pontoon CEO: Our IHO been completed on 28th Oct and we are listed on PancakeSwap, Apeswap, Uniswap. We have partnered with Polygon for now and we are testnet ready for launch in coming weeks.

Q: Can you list 1–3 great features of the project that set it ahead of its competitors? What competitive advantage does your platform have that you feel most confident in?
A: Decentralised Relayer Network: Relayer network makes cross-chain transfers, trustless and gas-less. And it passes on the events across chains for each transfer to the bridge. Cross-chain Liquidity Pool: Add liquidity and earn rewards in pontoon native token across chains. Trustless Cross-Chain Bridge: Transfer tokens across multiple chains in a seamless way with our state of the art relayer network.
Q: Many new projects initially developed well but were suddenly abandoned. How will you manage the project to maintain your position in the market and become a good project in the blockchain world?
A: We have multiple programmes that are pipelined, initially we will start off with incenitivized testnet and then launch mainnet with stable coins transfers across ETH, BSC and Polygon and then go with native tokens.
Q: Is there any fees reduction for token holders while cross bridging?what are major usage of token?…
A: We start off with some fees and then we move towards completely gasless once we are mainnet.
Q: What are the major milestones in your roadmap — both what you have achieved and what we can expect? Any partnerships and short/long term technical milestones that you would like to mention or bring attention to?
A: We are testnet ready with Eth, BSC and Polygon and ready for launch in coming weeks. Also planned to launch on CEX during the same window.
Q: Through what cool features Pontoon can solve centralised exchange dependency, liquidity fragmentation, etc? What are the Token Utilities? also how PONTOON’S RELAYER NETWORK works?
A: Token Utilities. Governance: Token holders can vote on the direction of the protocol and fund allocation from the treasury. LP Incentives for LPs and Relayers: Liquidity providers will be incentivised for providing liquidity on each network. Proof of Stake Relayer Network: A network secured by a series of validators running relayer node and getting incentivised on the fee collected. Relayers are message pass on from once chain to another chain.
