The objective of the event at the Meliá Palma Marina Hotel is to promote female entrepreneursip with talks of six recognized professionals touching issues related to their work. The program is designed to motivate and provide the necessary knowledge for women who want to develop their skill sets.

Meliá Palma Marina is located on Paseo Ingeniero, Avinguda de Gabriel Roca, in Palma.

Marta Grañó (Consultant in Innovation), Susana Torralbo (Publicist), Marina Conde (The Countess), Isabel Leyva (The 5th with Bleecker St), Wendy Vidal (Story Boards) and Marta Sanahuja (Delicious Martha) will talk about their personal success stories. A round table with local entrepreneurs is set to follow.

Marta Grañó is an Innovation Consultant, she holds a degree in Business Administration and Management and an MBA from ESADE. Currently she is working on her PhD in Education Economics. Since 2011, she has combined teaching activities at ESADE as an academic collaborator with her work as a Consultant of Innovation.

Susana Torralbo is a publicist and passionate about photography. Her company is helping businesses and entrepreneurs to communicate in a creative way, emphasizing on storytelling to convert followers to clients in a natural way.

Marina Conde, born in Badajoz, has a degree in Engineering and worked in Consulting and Industrial Marketing before leaving everything behind to create La Condesa. She was trained in fashion business management at the Instituto de Empresa of Madrid and became one of the first generation of bloggers that emerged in Spain around 2008. Her knowledge of fashion design and tailoring is partly due to her mother and partly self-taught.

Isabel Leyva is a Digital Marketing Consultant, her company specialized in the monetization of blogs. With her experience, she helps women who are not happy with a work schedule from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and with 30 days of annual leave, to be able to develop on a personal and professional level thanks to their blog, making enough income so that they can enjoy more freedom and flexibility.

Wendy Vidal is the founder of Cuendas de Cuento, The Wedding Designers (2009) and Cuendas de Cuento School (2012). She holds a Bachelor in Tourism, and is an expert in organizing events and conferences. Together with her team, she created a new way of approaching weddings, always looking for trends and the most innovative styles.

Marta Sanahuja studied Advertising and Public Relations in Barcelona following her great passion for communication. After a year in an advertising agency, she discovered the kitchen. Cooking to give love was what little by little became her new passion: gastronomy. She decided to start Delicious Martha, a blog that later turned into their own brand.

The round table will bring together five prominent local entrepreneurs: Cristina Ortega (Gastronomic Photographer), Virginia Moll (Copywriter), Nieves Villena (cocuh Financiera), Cati Moreno (Web Development) and Nadia Nemer (Marketing and Events).

This edition of “Woman Rocks” is sponsored by Meliá Palma Marina, Perfumes Club, Áureo Clinic and Bankia.
