We need universal medical care, and we need market forces to keep that care affordable.
The American medical system shows all the classic signs of monopoly control: very inelastic demand, artificial shortages of supply, artificially inflated prices, poor customer service, poor quality experience, no customer choice, exceptionally high profits.
