I am super excited to share this with all of my readers on Medium! A little over a year ago, I started writing on Medium, and it has been a rollercoaster ever since (Yes, A good one!). I have actually had a lot of success on the platform, and I hope to have tons of continued success still! So I do plan to continue to use Medium as I love the platform. Today, I am officially announcing a new website: https://www.democratizing.finance/

This comes with a few ideas in mind. Primarly, no matter how big I get, I am at the mercy of the Medium admin overlords. I try to cross-pollinate audiences the best I can, but if my Medium account ever got banned, that’s the center of a lot of my writing side hustle, its got a large mailing and referral list and semi-consistent decent income. So, I would take a hit, and it would hurt a lot of my other reach. I don’t plan to get banned, nor have I ever had any negative run-ins with Medium, they’ve been great. Nonetheless, the threat is still there. Not to mention, the reach is ultimately limited, and things like paywalls and the Medium monetization structure do, ultimately limit earnings and options. Further, I get paid by Medium what they decide that I get paid, so that’s another way in which I am at their mercy. Under ad-driven models like…
