This article details the current consensus and protocols. As far as we know, this is the most comprehensive and complete list ever explored. In the pictures below we present 32 different consensus and protocols. We didn’t only limit our research to the major protocols, but we also covered a few theoretical and academic ones. This thorough and in-depth study has for goal to build a general understanding of what the current state-of-the-art is about, but also to give to the academic researchers a good starting point of their literature review. In Demystify’s white paper, we will present more details about the list of protocols.
