DeNet January Highlights
In the initial month of the year, our primary focus was on designing the developmental roadmap for the DeNet Storage Protocol in 2024. Our dedication lies in not only advancing the protocol’s development but also in amplifying its recognition to enable more people to avail its advantages. Alongside these efforts, January witnessed a surge in the number of network nodes and updates made to the services built on the DeNet Storage Protocol.
Service Updates
In January, DeNet Storage underwent several updates, with the latest version of 1.13.4. These updates were designed to enhance the overall performance. User-reported payment bugs were promptly addressed to ensure a seamless onboarding experience. Additionally, file search functionality was enhanced, and language optimization within the app further improved. DeNet Storage is committed to ongoing improvements and providing the best user experience possible.
DeNet Payments update included minor bug fixes and performance enhancements, delivering a more convenient and useful experience for Datakeepers. The Datakeeper profile now displays the last activity, rental period, and includes warnings to prevent Datakeeper ID interception, making it easier for Datakeepers to keep track of their nodes. With this update, Datakeepers can now stay calm and confident knowing that their nodes are running smoothly and they can continue earning without any worries.
DeNet Datakeepers
The highlight of the month is the remarkable increase in the number of Datakeepers joining our network. We started 2024 with 15 Datakeepers, and we are proud to announce that we now have a dedicated team of 38, representing a remarkable growth of over 150%. With the cost of entry rising for each new member, we can confidently assert that our network is composed of the most committed and trustworthy node runners.
New collaborations
- In January, we revealed our exciting new partnership with Cedro, an innovative omnichain modular liquidity protocol that facilitates effortless lending and borrowing of assets across multiple chains. We are actively examining the potential benefits for our communities.
Gaining recognition
- Marcel, the owner of a popular crypto Youtube channel SMOKLM, recently shared a video with valuable insights about the benefits of participating in the Store&Earn program. In the video, he also discussed his personal experiences with running a node and becoming a Datakeeper, which was incredibly enlightening. Excited to see the results Marcel achieves within the ecosystem!
