DeNet Q2 2024 Results
The second quarter of 2024 was a fruitful period for DeNet, marked by the accomplishment of significant milestones. We had every reason to celebrate! The services built on top of the DeNet Storage Protocol underwent significant updates, resulting in a greatly improved user experience and reaching new levels of quality. Numbers
- Opened storage deposits reached 7.7 PB (including 5.8 PB from the Store&Earn program);
- Number of participants in the Store&Earn program increased by 32%;
- Datakeepers network expanded by 50%, with the total number of 74;
- Discord community reached 1000 members;

Updates and releases
DeNet Storage: introducing files preview and private sharing!
DeNet Storage released several noteworthy updates that brought in a range of exciting and highly anticipated features.
- The new feature for generating private file links enables secure sharing of files.

2. File previews were introduced, allowing users to conveniently view uploaded content to improve the overall user experience.
The additional updates include improving the user interface, resolving errors, boosting speed and stability, and optimizing performance. Android users can now back up phone folders, while support for iOS 15 has been discontinued.

Store&Earn Web version release
Store&Earn’s impact on the DePIN sector and adoption of decentralized storage has been significant. The web version that was released in Q2 made it even more accessible. This version has a range of features including:
- Making storage deposits;
- Completing selected tasks to increase rewards (such as inviting friends, making posts, and becoming a Datakeeper);
- Claiming rewards.

Datakeepers Platform release
The new node.denet.app is an all-in-one platform for Datakeepers, which consolidates the essential steps for becoming a Datakeeper and monitoring nodes. It also combines the Datakeepers Map, network stats, and convenient reward calculator. The app aims to make the Datakeeper journey easier and more accessible.
DeNode update v1.4.6 release
The latest release of DeNet Node v1.4.6 significantly improved the proof search mechanism, allowing Datakeepers to earn more rewards by sending more proofs. This version has been received with great enthusiasm by the community.

New collaborations
DeNet x OpSec
DeNet formed a strategic partnership with OpSec, a global hub for cloud-based products that connects millions of people. This collaboration will make it easier for users to contribute their storage capacities and operate DeNet nodes on OpSec’s CloudVerse platform.
DeNet File Token
Despite the recent market fluctuations, which have also impacted the DeNet File Token ($DE), the token consistently demonstrated itself as one of the top performers across multiple categories throughout Q2.
Building presence on the market
DeNet continued to gain momentum in the expanding DePIN market in Q2 by actively participating in industry discussions, events, and initiatives.
TOKEN2049
The DeNet team attended TOKEN2049, the biggest crypto event in Dubai. The event connected the DeNet Team with like-minded enthusiasts who share a focus on decentralization and practical applications, rather than speculative trends. TOKEN2049 remains an invaluable source of insights and networking opportunities.

DeNet was featured in a video by Your Friend Andy, dedicated to DePIN projects. Andy emphasized DeNet’s genuine value and real-world use cases. He explained the concept of DeNet, highlighted the benefits of launching a node, and provided instructions on earning rewards through the Store&Earn program.
Speaking at X Spaces
DeNet was invited to speak at X Space Hosted by Farmsent, where we conducted a comprehensive discussion on the current trend of DePIN. This occasion proved to be incredibly valuable, allowing us to share the wealth of expertise we have garnered over the years with our fellow DePIN enthusiasts.
Hosting AMA session
Furthermore, the DeNet Team hosted their own AMA session in early June to address the growing demand from the community. The session attracted a wealth of insightful questions, leading to an excellent and enriching discussion.

The continuous growth and strengthening of the DeNet Community is truly a cause for great joy. Here are some recent updates:
Datakeepers
Datakeepers’ network grew by 50% during Q2, reaching a total of 74 members. In addition, Datakeepers achieved remarkable results in Q2 by sending over 11,500 proofs, earning more than 64 TBY. The latest DeNode release indicates that both the number of proofs and the rewards will continue to rise. Keep up the great work!
The Discord community reached 1000 members!
This is a significant milestone as DeNet is prepared to take off. Besides the milestone, during Q2 the community grew by 22%. We are grateful to each member for their early support and eagerly anticipate the ongoing growth of our community.
Strong community involvement
The DeNet community is increasingly engaged, prioritizing quality over quantity. By participating in beta tests, providing invaluable feedback, and onboarding new members, community members earned over 54 TBY for their contributions.
