WHY ARUBA IS OUR PERFECT HONEYMOON DESTINATION

This charming island, located on the Lesser Antilles of the Dutch Caribbean, is up high on our list of most memorable trips. Here’s why:

Sunset chill with pink flamingos

At the most instagrammable beach environment ever! Swimming with the pink flamingo — check. And this time, they are not floaties.
There were beach gazebos, chairs, bars, and day loungers on the island; the perfect setting for sunset with the most chic creature.

Discover the island without online GPS

We didn’t buy any local SIM Card, for the reason that we did island hopping through ABC islands, and they are using different cellphone operators. Therefore, we ended up doing more spontaneous outings with simple instructions rather than the usual.

“Go up north to find the lighthouse.”
“Go to the centre to find the rock formation.”

It is a perfect way of couple bonding (or practicing teamwork :D)
We would often stop randomly because we found the perfect spot for taking pictures.

That island vibe

That chill, latin, island vibe that makes you relaxed. You can go everywhere with bikini and cover up without people staring.

Beach hopping

There are plenty of beaches in Aruba, and they are all public. No minimum charge to hang around the beach/loungers, so you can just drive and stop whenever you like for a swim or just chill.

Extraordinary views

Caribbean islands offer experiences like no other in terms of landscapes and nature.
Aruba is especially famous for its beaches and rock formations.

Amazing food

We had fun picking restaurants for dinner, and Aruba’s dining scene doesn’t disappoint.
My favorite: Gostoso; amazing amazing food (good selection on the menu), private service — the manager will go table by table to recommend dishes based on your preference.

No shopping

Being in an island means that everything is relatively expensive and the selection is limited. Wife didn’t even stop at Zara, husband is happy. Ha!
