This is solid an official comments from the Co-Founder of DENT wireless (Mikko Linnamäki)
It seems DENT has some fantastic news that will come out over the course of the year.
Mikko Linnamäki, [01.03.18 00:12] I can not name all because we are under NDA with some Telcos and partners, but I think you get the picture. Then after the show 6PM, quickly a shower at the Hotel, and then to Dinner with Telco guys.
Mikko Linnamäki, [01.03.18 00:12] and sometime at midnight finally some sleep and up 6:30 AM — -> Repeat
Mikko Linnamäki, [01.03.18 00:13] The expo is so large as it is in 8 halls, so Andee for example walked over 16 KM per day, according to his Health App on iPhone that calculates the steps;)
Mikko Linnamäki, [01.03.18 00:15] Findings that we made:
Mikko Linnamäki, [01.03.18 00:16] — The TELCOS find the data marketplace a very welcome and fresh idea, in fact some of them even asked if we need funding, showed interest to offer investment to us, yet at the moment we are well funded, so dont need that for now. But it is a good sign. DENT is hot property!
Mikko Linnamäki, [01.03.18 00:17] — As 5G is coming as the next evolution of mobile networks, there is a big need for a marketplace for low-latency bandwidth capacity which is processed on the Edge of Network, and DENT could be well positioned for that automated data trading, for example for automated vehicles, which need fast access.
Mikko Linnamäki, [01.03.18 00:17] We had a very long discussion about this with CISCO, the largest network equipment and solutions provider of the world.
Mikko Linnamäki, [01.03.18 00:18] And there are some pilot projects planned with a leading UK Telco about that
Mikko Linnamäki, [01.03.18 00:19] — E-sim, the Software SIM card, which will appear on more and more phones in the future, will be a great opportunity for DENT, as we might be able to become a virtual data offerer
Mikko Linnamäki, [01.03.18 00:20] — Our Consumer Data Trading app (The PLDT prototype) was really well received, and we are positive to find pilot projects with new telcos soon
Mikko Linnamäki, [01.03.18 00:21] — Overall, DENT cryptocurrency for Telcos is very attractive, and will find many use cases in Data Trading, trading of Airtime, and even as currency for Mobile Money Transfers.
Mikko Linnamäki, [01.03.18 00:23] Conclusion:
DENT is at the right place at the right time, with working products and a solid roadmap and a killer team!
Mikko Linnamäki, [01.03.18 00:25] One of my favorite quotes from Wayne Gretzky, the hockey player:

Mikko Linnamäki, [01.03.18 00:25] And thats where we are today.
Mikko Linnamäki, [01.03.18 00:27] So dont believe all the fud, those are people that try to push the price down to gain more, when you panic sell. Make your own decisions. We are building a real business in one of the the largest consumer markets. Our team is here almost every day , Vas & co take care of this community, I try to be here too as often as I can.
Mikko Linnamäki, [01.03.18 00:30] I think we had around 3000 registered users from Android in the first day, we will start making ad placements next week to the mexican market to get the user base growing
So what can we takeaway from this? As you can see from Mikko’s comments, there is so much going on in the background;
- Telcos are asking if DENT needs funding, this shows that telcos are indeed interested in DENT and the project
- DENT is well positioned for the 5G revolution and could work well with automated vehicles
- Possible partnership with CISCO
- Possible E-Sim partnership and integration in the future
