This December, DIVISADERO will celebrate another year in its growth as a company with 12 years under its belt offering knowledge, commitment and excellence, with core values which help drive their growth day by day.

Following the integration with Merkle, we’re proud to confirm that DIVISADERO is now the largest Digital Intelligence & Transformation Boutique Agency in Southern Europe. The team helps transform clients to become more efficient and competitive through the optimised application of digital data. This is achieved through generating effective relationships between business objectives, teams and data-rich tools.

This is a result of a long process where the human workforce plays a crucial role in the integration of these large projects. In fact, people are very much the engine of DIVISADERO! This ethos is reflected in their motto: #ProudToBePartOfThisTeam

Manuel Blanco, CEO DIVISADERO

Manuel Blanco, CEO of DIVISADERO, is one of the 100 people that make up that team. 11 years ago, Manuel made a significant personal and professional commitment to continue growing the DIVISADERO team. Today, Manuel tells us his story.

So tell us a little bit about DIVISADERO… What do you guys do?

DIVISADERO is a facilitator. We aren’t a Digital & Data Consultancy, we aren’t a Specialised Performance Marketing Agency, nor are we a Digital Strategy Consultancy. And while we do a lot of those things, we are very much a team.

In fact, I prefer to define DIVISADERO as a Specialist Team which helps large businesses understand what they can really achieve with data, whether digital or not, in order to ultimately improve their business and value proposition. I think we’re definitely a good benchmark for the market, because we’ve always been curious. You can never stop learning in this industry.

How would you describe your team?

I think what best describes this team is by starting with the “Why” of what we do:

“We believe that if you put your data to work, you will be able to transform the world.

By empowering digital through data, we can enhance your strategy to become a Value creator whatever the industry you’re in.

We just happen to design Digital Strategy and execute your tactics through Digital Intelligence.”

At the end of the day, we believe in data. Data is our reason for being. We were born digital natives and from there we have scaled the value proposition to the whole company and our clients. We have learned to be curious and transform our tactical and strategic services on an ongoing basis, ensuring everything is tied to data.

“We’ve always been curious. You can never stop learning in this industry.”

What do you think makes DIVISADERO stand out from the crowd?

Our curiosity and our thought leadership, for sure. If I look at our portfolio of services today, I realise how much we’ve evolved to address the rapidly changing nature of the market. It’s essentially been a case of exercising our professional intuition by building upon and transforming our core services according to the key trends dominating digital and data throughout the last decade.

It’s not easy and it does require a Specialist Team with a curiosity and a passion that drives them to continue learning in their role. Some might call it “Learning by Doing”. For us it’s just Business As Usual!

Our clients, our growth and our integration with Merkle over the past month or so is evidence which helps found our cutting edge thought leadership.

So apart from curiosity and passion, what would you say makes DIVISADERO stand out from a methodological standpoint?

I think it’s really a question of applying common sense to the services we provide for our clients using our knowledge and expertise.

Our knowledge and expertise allows us to transform noisy data into meaningful insight for our clients to make more powerful business decisions.

That can allow for better customer experience management, the restructuring of acquisitions and communications, or the general optimisation of digital assets (e.g. Conversion, Satisfaction and Advocacy).

It might sound simple, but at times it requires a lot of patience to know how to present the right idea at the right time. Convincing businesses, which have historically attributed their revenue entirely to physical channels, by translating data to visualise the attribution of digital interactions is a complicated exercise, to say the least. I’d say knowing how to adapt that message to become reality for each decision maker is the most complicated task of all.

“Our knowledge and expertise allows us to transform noisy data into meaningful insight for our clients to make more powerful business decisions.”

Let’s grab our crystal ball… Where do you see DIVISADERO in 5 years?

I daren’t respond to that question…!

They do say 1 year in digital is the equivalent of 5 years outside of the digital world. So, you’re basically asking me to give you a future prediction of 25 years… That’s a life time!

Joking aside, let me have a go…

I see DIVISADERO as an integral part of Merkle, with members of the team working all over the world. I see us continuing to be an academy of learning for lots of digital professionals who will continue within Merkle as well as the key businesses which lead in data-led strategy. I see a lot of hard work ahead and a lot of good times. Satisfaction and work well done. And new trends integrating in our value proposition of the team.

I also see my son, my wife and I five years older.

I honestly can’t see further than that!
