#Introducing… John Brown Novus

In June this year, Novus Group Holdings Pte Ltd, one of Southeast Asia’s leading independent content services companies was merged with global content leader John Brown Media. Now known as John Brown Novus, they’ve joined the Dentsu Aegis family to scale and accelerate our content marketing proposition in the Asia Pacific region.

Speaking to Simon Cholmeley, CEO of John Brown Novus, he tells us more about what John Brown Novus has to offer…

So Simon, tell us what you do!

Well, contrary to popular belief, more than words and pictures.

John Brown Novus is a creative content agency. We develop and execute content strategies for brands across Asia Pacific helping to strengthen the relationship between brands and their customers.

Which markets do you operate in?

John Brown Novus has offices in Singapore and Hong Kong. However, we develop content for clients across the Asia-Pacific region, in multiple languages and formats.

What did you know about Dentsu Aegis Network before you joined?

We have worked closely with Isobar on a couple of projects over the past 18 months. We also have existing relationships with key personnel in a number of other Dentsu Aegis Network agencies — Singapore is a small market so we have crossed paths with many of the teams over the past few years.

What made you decide you wanted to be a part of the Network?

At each step of the process the Dentsu Aegis Network executives focused on the growth opportunity and how they would help to enhance our capabilities and reach. Equally there was a genuine willingness to find solutions to some of our challenges. Most importantly it was the network that had the best cultural fit.

What are you most looking forward to as a new member of the group?

Opportunities to work with the different agencies across the multiple areas of expertise and the resulting knowledge transfer for the John Brown Novus teams. Also, the ability to leverage off the infrastructure and reach of the network to scale the John Brown Novus business regionally.

Over the past few weeks our teams have been involved in a number of pitches and live projects across Dentsu Aegis Network. It has been a highly positive introduction and I look forward to developing these relationships over the coming weeks and months.

What are your key priorities for this year?

To continue to educate both internally and externally.

If you could summarise Dentsu Aegis Network in one word?

Enterprising.
