On Thursday June 7th, 2012 Mishka Foundation and MODA Benefit are hosting a Fashion for a Cure Benefit to raise funds for a Cure for Juvenile Diabetes at the historic New York City Upper East Side The Harry F. Sinclair House, a mansion that houses the Ukrainian Institute of America.

This chic soiree will gather business, medical, social, and artistic elite of New York City to help children at risk. The program will consist of a runway fashion show featuring designs by Melinda Eng, a silent auction, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres.

Mishka Foundation and MODA Benefit are all-volunteer based organizations, with every dollar raised during Fashion for a Cure Benefit to go to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (www.jdrf.org/nyc), which has awarded more than $1.6 billion in grants since 1970. Due to Mishka’s Foundation 501©(3) status, all financial or in-kind donations are fully tax deductible.

Some of the New York City’s prominent companies rose to the occasion and offered their kind support: Ginza Project, Mari Vanna, MPD, Jelsomino, Burberry, DEPESHA, Ferarri, and M&L Consultans.
