Rachel Zoe has elevated her design with the Fall Winter 2016 collection as she paid homage to the 30’s in a refined but modern way. T-strap heels, slip dresses and Mongolian lamb fur vests are some of the standouts of the collection that showed a different side of Zoe. Usually known for more bohemian inspired apparel, she decided to go further into a tailored direction while still offering some lace detailing and luxe brocade. The collection has both masculine and feminine accents but one thing it’s not is costume which designers can border on when channeling a previous decade. It seems like Zoe has found her stride and is growing as a designer that manages to appeal fashions love for both whimsy and practicality.
