The need to study accessibility in 2023 has become so important that I strongly believe if your product or website is not accessible, it is outright discriminating against the “differently-abled”.

Differently Abled is often described in terms of lack of normal functioning of physical, mental or psychological processes — blind, handicapped, etc.

As a Frontend Engineer / Web Developer, it should be your moral responsibility to create products that everyone can use. Most of the websites (even the big names like Amazon and Wellfound) are not completely accessible. When I started researching about accessibility, it was overwhelming. The amount of resources was excessive (to say the least). And when I landed on studying the accessibility ratings (i.e A, AA, AAA) that was the time I really lost faith in the conventional approach of searching/understanding accessibility.
