Adobe Stock is a great place for creatives to find stock images and designs. Recently it added new features for customizing the stock images with AI: Generative edits, (customize with) composition and style. In this post I share my experience and thoughts on these new AI features.

Generative edits

You can remove background, replace background or expand an image with Adobe Stock Generative Edits.

Remove background

To remove background of an image is straightforward. For example, here is an image that I’m interested in editing on Adobe Stock:

Click on “Edit” takes me to an editor where I can customize the image with AI. With just a click of the button “Remove background” under “Select an action”, the image now has a transparent background.
