Generating fantastic images with AI tools is cool, but what about something usable in real life?

Today, let’s jump on game assets creation using AI and a little image-to-Pixel Art tool :)

Step 1

Generate an image with an AI tool. regarding what kind of asset you looking for, you can try many options. I find Midjourney is the suited option to generate static game assets like RPG icons or concept art sprites!

Step 2

Pass your fresh AI-Generated images into Pixelicious. Pixelicious is a little tool I’ve made to create Pixel Art from any image. It got a lot of love these weeks since the results are pixel-perfect and grid-based, let me know if you want to know more about it in the comments!

Compose your scene and voilà! In addition, you can change the color palette of the pixel art result and you can download it at the standard sprite. size (64px, 128px…)

Use pixelicious.xyz to convert you image into Pixel Art and remove the background
