Wow. A whole week? I am so proud of myself. If you’ve been reading for the past six days, you are *struggling to find the best word to describe how amazing you are*.

Scenario: It’s Monday. A user has just gotten into their car to drive to work. They plug their phone into the car and start driving.

Challenge: How would you let the user know there’s a fire happening in a nearby town that is causing road closures? The effect on their commute is unknown, but there is a definite danger if the fire gets closer. How do you communicate this to them? When? Write it.

Headline: 30 characters max | Body: 45 characters max

Writing that saves lives? Count me in.

Mondays can be so serious. You just want to put your best foot forward and start with an oomph that might last you throughout the week, but unforeseen circumstances could change that.

How do I convey this serious situation to someone who wants to get to work early, in the right state of mind as soon as possible? Stay with me.

How would you let the user know there’s a fire happening in a nearby town that is causing road closures? I will be notifying them with a notification stating that there is a fire nearby, where it is happening, how it may affect their commute, and alternative routes for them to drive safely on.

The effect on their commute is unknown, but there is a definite danger if the fire gets closer. How do you communicate this to them? This is communicated by letting them know that the current route they’re on might not be the safest while also providing safer options.

When? As soon as possible, because the earlier the better.

Fire at Uwani

Your route is affected due to road closures.
