I was on LinkedIn and came across a post by Erika Hall that caught my attention. Her original post was thought-provoking and I found myself agreeing with the sentiment.

But then I noticed the top comment to Erika’s post. It was a response from Peter Merholz. Both of these people are giants in the field of Design or UX or whatever we are calling it these days. It was Peter’s comment that caused me to think deeply and I found myself disagreeing vehemently with him.

The digital age has borne witness to many debates, but few are as enduring and intricate as the one surrounding Design and User Experience (UX). At the heart of this discussion lies the juxtaposition of Design, often seen as a timeless craft, with UX, a term that has gained traction more recently but with resounding impact.
