Designers, don’t talk to me about problems unless you have solutions

Listen no one likes the complainer. That jerk that sees the negative in everything.

And people usually shoot the messenger. So I speak with or read stuff posted by designers pointing out problems every single day .

Some of you have never had a private journal and it shows.

I skim past dozens of posts complaining about the same bullshit anytime I make it on one of these platforms we are all forced to be on.

Instead of complaining about how awful hiring is ? Don’t do that.

Design a solution

Form a hypothesis as to what’s causing it.

Have a side projects part of your portfolio and work on some stuff that genuinely interests you. It will communicate that you are a human.

Did you get ghosted by a recruiter ? A job?

How to not react :

Post on linkeldn how the company didn’t give you feedback and you felt like your time was wasted. Bonus dumb points if you tag them in the post

Better example :

Every single touch point someone has with your company can be considered a part of the experience…
