A UX/UI and Product Designer needs a combination of technical, creative, and soft skills to be effective in their role and in the design market. At the same time, we are confused about what type of skills we have to add to our resume/CVs. Considering these, I collect a comprehensive list of essential skills:

Technical Skills

1. User Research:

  • Conducting surveys, interviews, and usability tests.
  • Analyzing user behaviors and feedback.
  • Creating user personas and user journey maps (UJM).

2. Wireframing and Prototyping:

  • Developing low-fidelity sketches and wireframes.
  • Creating interactive prototypes to test user flows.
  • Tools: Figma or what you wish)))

3. Visual Design:

  • Designing aesthetically and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Knowledge of color theory, typography, and grid layout, in design systems.
  • Tools: Figma.

4. Interaction Design:

  • Designing intuitive and engaging user interactions.
