FigChallenge — a Design Challenge App — Sepideh Yazdi — @sepidy — sepidy.com — UX — UI — UX Design — UX designer — UI — designer.
You can find it in my Dribbble — FigChallenge designed by Sepideh Yazdi — Amazing avatars designed by pikisuperstar from Freepik.

Designers are constantly seeking ways to improve their skills, and one of the best ways to do so is through social accountability. By setting challenges for ourselves and sharing our progress on social media platforms like Dribbble, Twitter, and LinkedIn, we are able to motivate ourselves to push harder and achieve more. But what if we could take this a step further and involve our friends in the process?

Introducing Figchallenge, an app designed specifically for designers looking to challenge themselves and become better. The concept is simple: create a challenge, invite friends to participate, and work together to achieve the goal. The first designer to complete the challenge earns stars and can showcase their work with a link, while all participants receive a notification. The app gamifies the design challenge process, making it more fun and motivating for designers.

For the MVP, the app would include features such as:

  1. Create a challenge:
  • Set the points from 1–5 based on the challenge difficulty.
  • Set a due date.
  • Invite a friend to it.

2. Add a friend to your list.

3. Tap “I’m done” when you finish the challenge.

4. Add a link to your work.

5. Your friend receives a notification.

The app has a lot of room for expansion and improvement, but the initial idea is simple and effective. By involving friends in the process, we are able to tap into the power of social accountability and achieve even more than we would on our own.

Update

We implemented the app and the MVP is ready! You can read about it here:
