GPT vs Google: the battle for search

The way we search the web is changing and that’s thanks to a new contender in the digital arena. On one side of the ring we have Google search, currently the world’s reigning champion and most popular solution for searching the web and on the other side we have GPT, a language model that uses deep learning to generate responses in a conversational format. Integrating AI into search

Artificial intelligence (AI) has been transforming the world for decades and it continues to improve digital products from Amazon using AI to respond to increased demand and increase supply of products to their warehouses, Apple using AI in FaceID to identify users and increase the security of their devices and Netflix using AI to personalise recommendations. These examples illustrate how the integration of AI can streamline processes and supercharge our tools. The impact of AI on searching the internet is likely to be no different.
