This project was done during the 10k designers cohort, our task was to design/redesign a landing page for a startup. My goal for this project was to make a website which is simple with trust markers throughout the website, so the user signs up to try the product.

Problem Statement: Design a one pager website for an AI powered copilot for legal professionals.

if you want to check out the design there is a prototype below. (would highly recommend you to check it out on laptop and also if it takes a while to load please bear with me.)

About Jimini AI ℹ️

Jimini AI is your legal copilot, automating tasks like research, drafting, and document analysis — think of it as a ChatGPT for legal professionals. Founded by Raphaël Arroche and Stéphane Béreux, it uses generative AI to boost efficiency and productivity. Supporting tasks such as contract management and court preparation, Jimini AI offers natural language interaction for easy legal queries. Currently in closed beta with top European firms and backed by €1.9 million in seed funding, Jimini AI is set to revolutionize the legal industry.

Before you start you should know that the website was designed when they were pre-product. I am assuming the product is now available and I’m making a design for that product. Section wise design breakdown in the below sections.

Would recommend you to check the prototypes if you have time.

My Design Process👨‍🎨

Research🔍
In this phase I researched more about the company and understood what advantages it has compared to others, performed a competitor analysis of existing websites to find out the main highlights of each website. I also made a persona to better understand who I’m designing the website for along with pain points.

IA (Information Architecture)🧩
In this phase I understood what sections to include and in what particular order so that the information is mapped out properly in a way the user can understand more about the product.

Copywriting✍️
Here I used the AIDA Framework and made sure to write headlines that are simple and understandable and I made FAQ’s to ensure it solves the users doubts regarding the product.

Wireframing📐
For this I usually use paper/Tab to draw out the wireframes but this time I used AI to generate a wireframe and it had almost everything I needed to start.

Visual Design🎨
This is my favorite part of the process because I get to do mood boarding. One thing that helps me during mood boarding process is timeboxing myself otherwise anyone can get carried away. After I am done with my mood board then I decide on the style guide then start designing to create an initial draft.

Iteration🔄
This step is super important in my opinion because it helps me explore all the options that are possible and remove minor issues that we might have missed while designing. I would like to thank my mentors who have given me some amazing pointers for this part of the process.

Prototype⚙️
After I was satisfied with the iterations I began prototyping it was really fun to do this.

Frameworks Used🛠️

AIDA

What is AIDA?
The AIDA framework stands for Attention, Interest, Desire, and Action. It’s a model used in marketing and advertising to guide consumers through the stages of purchasing a product or service:

- Attention: Captures the audience’s attention.
- Interest: Maintains their interest by providing relevant information.
- Desire: Creates a strong desire for the product or service by highlighting benefits and unique features.
- Action: Encourages the audience to take a specific action, such as signing up or making a purchase.

How AIDA was Used?
I used it for copywriting to come up with headlines for each of the benefits section i.e headlines, body and CTA. You can check out the examples of AIDA in the visual designs.

Use of Social Proof
To further strengthen Jimini’s message, I incorporated social proof. This included testimonials from satisfied users and displayed trust badges from reputable firms that are backing up Jimini AI. These elements help to build trust and reassure potential customers of the value and reliability of our product.

The Research🔬

The most time consuming but important part.

How Research helped me?
Research helped me understand what features the users look for and what they expect the tools to help them with. I applied this research in the testimonials section where there was data highlighted to show how much it actually helped them in their efficiency.

Why competitive analysis?
This helped me understand how other websites witin the same category lloked like, what they lacked and what they had. I then came up with the top three features features and listed them in the feature section also showed how Jimini AI benefits them.

The Mood board📌

All the cool things you find dumped in one place.

Style Guide🧾

The Designs✨

Hero & Benefits Section

The heading partially follows the AIDA model. Here’s how it was used:

  1. Attention: The phrase “Meet Jimini AI” grabs attention by introducing the product and the phrase “Jimini AI” grabs attention, especially for those interested in AI or legal technology.
  2. Interest: Adding “Your Legal AI Copilot” generates interest by clearly identifying what Jimini AI does and the context in which it helps (legal assistance).

After showing what is Jimini? the benefits are shown to bring user’s attention on how it helps them.

Features & Benefits Section

Here the features are clearly stated with a learn more which will show how each feature works through demo videos. In the Pricing section there's a toggle to show annual pricing and tells users that they can save up to 10% with an annual plan.

Testimonials & FAQ’s Section

In the testimonials section the testimonials highlights how much it has helped lawyers improve their efficiency using numbers and it also tells what edge they have gained in their work.

Footer Section

The footer design is simple with a Sign Up for newsletter prompt along with the most important things listed out such as About Us and Product. There is also a trust marker “Trusted by 100+ Lawyers” above the line “Join others lawyers by Signing Up today!” and lastly the option to connect on social media is mentioned.

Final Thoughts 💭

The journey was super fun, from making mood boards to prototypes it was amazing . A huge shoutout to my mentors Paritosh Kumra and Nisheta Gupta (who are also from my college) for all the constructive criticism.

Finally a big shoutout to Abhinav Chhikara, Jayneil Dalal for the amazing experience throughout the cohort.

I’m open to opportunities as a Product Designer! so feel free to connect with me on Linkedln or Twitter if you’d like to work together or collaborate on projects! (or you could also drop a hello 👋)
