A UI/UX designers’ guide to boosting your site’s SEO

A designer asked, “Why doesn’t my beautiful website rank high on Google?” The SEO expert answered, “Um…I can share some tips with you to improve the SEO.”

There is a saying that good wine needs no bush. However, spreading content in the internet era doesn’t work like that. Despite having the most beautiful site in the world, it is worth nothing if people cannot dig it out from the internet.

How can we let people know that we have a good site? Nowadays, users find us mainly through search engines, especially Google search. To attract traffic, we need to rank high in Google searches.

For the articles that rank high, we call them SEO content.

What is SEO (search engine optimisation) content?

The difference between SEO and non-SEO content.
  • SEO content can organically increase your website’s visibility in the search engine result pages. SEO content usually is solutions that would solve users’ problems or needs or simply content that targets specific search queries.
  • None-SEO content means content that the users do not search for. For example, an article that sounds like a marketing promotion.
