So let’s get started, if you look at the chart below you’ll find that the valuation of Zomato and Blinkit in 2022 was $5B & $569M respectively i.e. Blinkit was close to 10 times smaller than Zomato in Valuation. And if you look at profitability, both suffered a huge loss, Zomtao burned close to ₹ 1222 crore (it was ₹ 2000+ crore in 2020) and Blinkit was burning ₹ -150 on every purchase made. Interestingly if you were not a Blinkit customer you were benefiting them more than by being a customer.
