13 Models and frameworks in Product and UX
Models and frameworks that you should consider in your product development
Product and UX is full of information, and of the back of the information are decisions to be made. Thankfully, there are wide range of models and frameworks which can be used as part of the process to help with the decision making process and help integrate some objectivity and user centred insights into it. Below are a list of models that I have come across while working in UX Research (although I have not used all listed, I have tried to detail them to create a comprehensive collection). 🏰 Castle Framework
What is it?
A complementary framework to the HEART Framework that is focused on internal products where users may not have a choice in the system they are using such as internal business software. This is because some of the metrics in the HEART model such as retention are not relevant.
When a product is compulsory for users to use, Nielsen Norman [1] suggests using the CASTLE Framwork which stands for: Cognitive load, Advanced feature usage, Satisfaction, Task efficiency…
