My experience with the Google UX certificate course 3 of 7: Build wireframes and low-fidelity Prototypes
If you coming from the previous article 👍, I’ve been continuing my Google UX Design Professional Certificate path, and in this article, I’ll condense topics and notes for Course 3 (Build Wireframes and Low-Fidelity Prototypes), we’ll continue to design a mobile app to add on our UX portfolio. We’ll start by creating storyboards and getting familiar with the basics of drawing, creating paper wireframes and digital wireframes using the design tool Figma. You’ll also create a paper prototype and a digital low-fidelity prototype in Figma (Not Limited, Personally I’ve been using Adobe XD).
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
• Create storyboards to come up with ideas about solutions to user needs.
• Run competitive audits and learn how research informs ideation.
• Apply the principles of information architecture to organize a mobile app.
• Build Problem and Goal Statements and also Outline User Flows
• Create wireframes on paper and digitally in the design tool Figma.
• Build paper prototypes to create interactive designs.
• Design low-fidelity prototypes in Figma or Adobe XD.
