Since the explosive launch of public AI in the last couple years, we’ve seen countless tools to help you with anything from drafting an email to generating a full short film. It’s a lot to keep track of, and many listicles will give you 100 tools they Googled without actually trying them. So today I wanted to share the tools that I have actually used in my own XR design workflow.
Used responsibly, these tools will allow you work smarter and stay current with the pace of innovation. They’re not a replacement for creativity, but can certainly help you bring your concepts to life a little easier. Especially when under the time crunch of a hackathon!
Many of these areas of AI are still developing, but the results are more than sufficient for showing off proofs of concept (commercial usage is still way off). Each tool has its strengths, so I recommend trying more than one!
All of these apps are free, but many of them work on a limited credit system. That being said, the free credits are more than enough to get a feel for the tool!
