In recent years, careers like UX Designer, Programmer, or Data Analyst have been hailed as ideal options for job satisfaction. With the promise of easy job placement for data analysts, high salaries for programmers, and creative fulfillment for Designers, these careers have become trendy options for many seeking a change.

The desire is understandable, especially since these roles often promise flexibility, relevance, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

But jumping into a trendy career won’t necessarily solve deeper issues of career dissatisfaction. Before going for a shift, you will have to understand the deep reasons behind that wish.

Why? Because job titles and industries can’t address fundamental misalignments with personal values, strengths, or goals.

Many people transition into UX design with the hope of finding fulfillment, only to face disappointment when the reality doesn’t align with their expectations. I’ve seen friends spend thousands on boot camps, only to discover the career wasn’t what they were led to believe.
