1.Create Objects with Equal Height and Width

We draw a circle or rectangle more often, but most of the time we wont get the desired or equal shape.

Hold the “Shift” button and try to draw your desired object. This trick works if you want to draw squares or circles

2.Define The Space Between Different Elements

Figma is a tool which allowed designers to set the space between different elements automatically, It doesn’t matter if the layers are aligned vertically or horizontally!

Way to do :

  1. Select all the frames which you want to align
  2. Go to right side panel where you can see alignment column
  3. And hit on Tidy up(Last in Column). The frames will get arranged in vertically and Horizontally both .

or

Just use Shortcut👉 Ctrl+alt+Shift+T

And Boom you got it.

3.Rename all your Frame at once

We should keep our frames neat and discipline, and naming the frame accordingly is the most important factor. But due to time constraints we end up without renaming it, which is not a good sign of design.

Easy way to achieve:

  1. Select all the frames by dragging
  2. Hit ctrl/cmd+R
  3. Give a name to frame.

4.Figma Copy and Paste

  1. Pasting the same elements at the same place in another frame is a time consuming thing.

Easy way-👉 Just select elements which you want to copy and copy it(ctrl+c) and select the other frame in which you want, and paste it there (Ctrl+v)

Multi paste is here, which makes it easy to paste into multiple frames. Copy your components, select each frame and paste in.

Done !

2. Paste to Replace: Deleting and placing the elements now at single click

Copy which ever components you want and right click on existing component and hit on Paste to Replace. Boom you got it.

Copying the solid color of a components is very easy but copying the linear color is challenging.

So here is the simple way
