Don’t stress the details if you haven’t even started the basics.

As a top mentor in the XR Design community, I talk to a lot of people who are just starting out. They’re excited about all the cool things this technology can do and they want to start right away. Which is awesome!

However, one of the biggest issues I see people running into is that they don’t know how to start their projects.

And I don’t mean creator’s block. Actually, most of the people I talk to have a TON of ideas! So many that they never seem to actually get started, ending up with a bare minimum portfolio as a result.

Planning a Successful Project

Project planning is nothing new, but how you plan an XR project can make all the difference.

For starters, I like to use a white-boarding tool like FigJam, Miro, or Mural to get started. This allows me to think about the project I’m building less linearly and collect my thoughts neatly.
