Artificial Intelligence is becoming a game changer in the design industry due to its capability of performing tasks that were previously exclusive to humans.
Since Alan Turing theorized in 1936 the possibility of creating what he called an a-machine (automatic machine), the field of computation and, particularly, automation, has developed quickly, accordingly with the improvement of the hardware for computers, giving birth to what is known nowadays as Artificial Intelligence (AI). In simple terms, Artificial Intelligence refers to machines programmed to mimic humans based on previous learning from real data. Up to now, some of the tasks achieved by machine learning involve pattern recognition, decision-making, problem-solving, and even communication with humans.
Nowadays, the use of Artificial Intelligence is pervasive, from virtual smartphone assistants to robots that assist in medical surgeries or even self-driving cars. Its vast potential is constantly evolving, promoting significant changes in different sectors of society. Recently, this topic has become recurrent on social networks, with users performing demonstrations and showing the various ways the tool can be used. Among them are writing articles or academic works, writing poems, writing job applications, or even helping to program code.
Regarding the area of design, Artificial Intelligence is literally changing the game. With the advent of AI-powered design tools, designers can now automate repetitive tasks, generate personalized designs, and even analyze vast amounts of data to efficiently create customized and unique designs.
In this article, I intend to expose some of the fresh new innovations that AI has brought to the field of graphic design in recent years.

In fact, AI, as advanced as it is up to date, cannot replace human experience and sensitivity.
