The three most important features of a Great Product Roadmap
Transparency is one of the most important aspects of a Product Manager’s work. One of its best ways to materialize is via a Product Roadmap. A good roadmap will highlight the skills of a Product Manager and build stakeholders' trust, if not hype, but a bad one can lead to, at the very least, a few unnecessary nervous discussions. 1. Connect the roadmap items to your Product Goals/OKRs
When it comes to disclosing your plans, you will always be limited in time and resources. Just like deciding on your backlog items and sprint’s content is very difficult, choosing items for a 3, 6, or 12 months road map in a way that makes sense and can be feasibly delivered, brings the difficulty to a whole other level.
