What I learned working for Microsoft as a UX designer

I left my UX designer job at Microsoft just a day before the 2020 new year!. Indeed, it’s was a great journey working there with great minds.

Being a UX design professional with varied experience working in a service firm, startups, and moving to a well-established corporate organization has offered so much in the room for me. Sharing here, what I learned from Microsoft as a product designer. It could help anyone who wants to have a deeper look inside the design culture at Microsoft.

1.Interview process:

I had an intensive interview process that took almost 3–4 months from the day I received a call from the recruiter till I received the offer letter in hand. In total, there were 8 rounds including portfolio review, tasks, onsite interview, remote interview, and HR round. Become a big fan of their hiring process and evaluation. I just learned a lot of things in each interview round.
