But what if we repurposed the phrase to learn about the different social movements affecting our society?
Introduction
Fall 2022 was the semester in which I worked on my capstone for my Master’s in Professional Studies in UX Design at Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). I aimed to explore, how we as a society learn about the different social issues that affect us, and how we hold these discussions among our peers. It’s hard to invoke change if we’re only shouting over each other, and it’s hard to invoke change if we don’t do the work to understand one another.
