Repeats the article’s title, “What the f*ck is the goal of UX?” plus some emojis

When the economic success of an initiative depends on whether the products, features, and services are adopted and regularly used by individuals, User Experience must play a significant role in product development. 🤯 💸

The User Experience of a digital product consists of the entirety of the displayed or offered content, services, offers, conditions, and processes.

People's adoption of a digital product depends on its relevance. A product is relevant if it makes lives easier, meets people's needs, adds joy to their lives, and permanently changes people's behavior.

The User Experience of a digital product consists of the entirety of the displayed or offered content, services, offers, conditions, and processes. –

"Can't you just cover the complexity with some beautiful UI magic?" 🤷 "No."

The technical or operational processes may be only indirectly visible to the users but directly affect the user experience because they lay the groundwork for what can be visually consumed by users. Conditions of a product's service must be understood or can initially have a restrictive or excluding effect.

Any role that works directly or indirectly on content, products, services, or technical processes is working on the product UX. Every department that defines conditions of services and every department that defines operational processes impacts UX. Every decision for or against a technical development, every MVP is a decision that impacts UX.

🤠 🤡 👾 👩💼 "Sure, all of you."

Achieving a 'good' UX will directly lead toward achieving the business goals. And therefore, it is essential to put people's needs at the center of product development. Especially when your success is directly linked to the permanent adoption of your products and services. 📈

💸💰💶 ? "Yes, UX is about earning money."

A good UX aims to achieve relevance, therefore, reaching the business goal.

What is UX Design?

If every decision influences a product's relevance for people and thus the success of a product, then it is the task of UX design to act as the user's advocate. Designers' mission is to be part of the creation and definition of the products and service's content, conditions, and processes and represent the user's perspective in decision-making.

… involving UX designers in the earliest stages of product development is crucial…

UX design aims to create a product for people by focusing on the user's needs, thus creating relevance and leading to economic success. UX is a holistic task for a company because every decision contributes directly or indirectly. Designers help companies maintain this user-centered focus through their skills, knowledge, and methods. Therefore, involving UX designers in the earliest stages of product development is crucial to achieving relevant products and services and reaching the business goals.

PS: The naming of the role "UX Designer" is misleading and contributes to misunderstandings, which is why the naming "Product Designer" is becoming increasingly established. This title implies that the designer (co-)shape the product in its entirety and help design the mentioned aspects.

On the other hand, designing a "User Experience" is a meta term. Nobody creates a UX alone. This is probably why people incorrectly simplify the role and interpret UX Design as "User Interface Conception."
