While UX gurus are telling you to invest money and time in portfolios and buy their expensive courses on how to create a better one, I will advise differently.

Use your precious time and go around, talk with people, improve your communication skills, approach some business, offer your services, or start a project.

You are better off putting your time working on a new volunteer project than refining something dead that you did back in 2020.

Gurus are always telling us that a stellar portfolio is the key to landing our dream job. I am not saying portfolios are not important. But people should stop going too crazy about it. R-E-L-A-X, P-E-O-P-L-E! 😌
