There are a lot of design challenges actually, what I found are the most interesting must to have similitudes with real projects.

Something like a problem to solve or a solution to improve, a deadline is a good thing to add — things that make them look like it were a real project to work.

Especially if you don’t have previous real projects of experience these can be the start for your portfolio and let you land the job that will give you real experience.

Or even if you are a pro or an expert designer, still is a good thing to participate in challenges because will made you think in a quick way a great solution for the challenge’s problem — also these kinds of work will give you the freedom to try new styles and visuals trends of the moment.

I found interesting to do challenges with other designers because at the end of the challenge you can see what others did and how they solve the problem — more important if you are starting so you can see what betters designers did and analyze and learn from that.

If you don’t have time to do this kind of challenges it’s not a big deal, at least you are working on real projects, but even though try to do one challenge in a while.

I’m doing challenges from UpLabs, I think there are a nice community and ecosystem for challenges 👍🏻 Another challenge that I recommend is The Design Project.

The votes for the Grocery Shopping App started today. You can see the work of all the participants 👨🏻‍💻
