The Tabble is the smart tablet accessory that will help you use your tablet more often, and more comfortably. When you’re wearing it, it’s sturdy and comfortable. When you’re not, it folds up into a small compact unit. It all started with a simple idea; that computing is moving towards tablets and mobile devices, and that tablets can be frustrating to use for longer periods of time. There is a definite need for a product that helps people use tablets on the go and at home, hands-free.

The Tabble is an exciting new product developed by local Western Australian inventors, Jarrad & Rick Crugnale from Samnites Group. Both came up with the idea at about the same time but in very different ways. Jarrad was out on a mine-site watching people run between the process plant and their offices to update their spreadsheets. He knew there had to be a better way to access data on site.

Rick likes to watch videos on his iPad but found it uncomfortable to hold for longer periods, and it was always awkward to position. So they went back to the drawing board to develop the concept of a freestanding ‘tablet table’, hence the name, Tabble.

After meeting with the professional design team at Form Designs and discussing the idea, the concept was developed into a product that was portable and versatile. The Tabble features adjustable sides that allow it to fit every size tablet or e-reader, in both portrait and landscape orientation, from every manufacturer. The Tabble is lightweight and compact which makes it perfect for every commuter’s backpack. The Tabble is now turning to crowdfunding for an official launch: which is set to begin in December 2015 and run for two months.
