We all have this feeling: the unease of a long list of unfinished tasks we must tackle before we are able to move ahead. Until they are completed, we can’t start the next big thing. The belief is that we have to take action because we don’t know what one finished thing can bring until it is done. We have to understand at the same time that this concept has its opposite. We may miss the thing we finished and want to return to that moment in time.
Our completed tasks have a silver lining: they become memories of things finished rather than the burden of things left undone.
