  1. Give honest feedback, even if that means you need to deliver criticism.
  2. Raise concerns early, before it’s too late to change course on something you don’t agree with.
  3. Delegate tasks clearly, to keep people accountable to work. Communicate about what projects you’re most excited to take on.
  4. Don’t be a bystander. If you see a group message you can answer, respond to it. If there’s an unmet need you can address, do it.
  5. If you need help, ask for it. Let the team support you.
  6. Meet every Monday and Wednesday evening to co-work and keep on top of key checkpoints.
  7. Create a Google Doc with key to-dos for each checkpoint so we can go into every team meeting with an agenda.
  8. Leave each meeting with clear action items for what needs to be accomplished before the next class. Communicate them right after over Slack.
  9. Contribute your best effort to the work you do.
  10. Do a fun icebreaker every meeting. We’re working on how to create meaningful conversations for friends — we should connect meaningfully too.
